After selecting the EZ-Button & Zip Assist, we carefully considered sourcing costs, pricing strategy, and stock levels. Monitoring inventory helped prevent overspending while ensuring we were prepared for sales opportunities.

Each member was assigned a specific role based on their strengths. This allowed responsibilities such as finance, marketing, IT, sales, and administration to be managed efficiently.
Although roles were defined, key decisions were made collectively to ensure balanced judgement and shared accountability.

The development of Kingston began with identifying a genuine need within the community. Through discussions and basic market research, we recognised that many elderly and differently abled individuals struggle with simple dressing tasks, particularly buttoning and zipping clothing.

Our initial focus was on finding a solution that directly addressed this issue. Rather than developing a completely new product, we evaluated existing assistive tools to determine which option best aligned with our mission, target market, and financial capacity.
The EZ-Button & Zip Assist was selected because of its practicality, affordability, and dual-function design. It offered a clear solution to the problem we had identified.
